Megarevo Inverters & Commercial Energy Storage South Africa
Megarevo & Dyness for demanding projects
Engineering-led inverter and battery-storage proposals, designed for the measured loads, operating strategy and correct manufacturer-supported configuration.

MicroSec helps South African businesses specify Megarevo inverter and energy-storage projects around their actual operating loads, backup needs and electricity costs. From Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal, we support commercial and industrial enquiries nationwide, with equipment availability and the installation scope confirmed in a written quotation.
Megarevo and Dyness for projects from 200 kW to 5 MW
For commercial and industrial projects from 200 kW to 5 MW, MicroSec uses Megarevo with Dyness battery storage as its standard offering. Battery capacity in kWh and battery discharge power are specified separately to suit the load profile, operating strategy and required backup duration. Exact models, communications and the supported configuration are confirmed during engineering.
Megarevo commercial and industrial inverter solutions
Megarevo manufactures hybrid inverters and energy-storage power-conversion equipment. The correct platform depends on the site: a warehouse with daytime solar demand, a factory with motor starting loads and a remote operation combining solar, batteries and a generator have different requirements.
- Solar and battery integration: assess PV production, battery charging and the loads that must remain operational.
- Three-phase commercial projects: check phase balance, peak demand, starting currents and essential-load separation.
- Generator and microgrid applications: review the selected model, operating modes, control interfaces and protection before committing to an architecture.
- Energy-cost projects: assess time-of-use tariffs and actual load data to establish whether load shifting is suitable.
What MicroSec checks before quoting
We assess inverter power in kW separately from battery energy in kWh. We also review usable battery capacity, discharge power, PV string limits, AC and DC protection, earthing, cable routes, ventilation and the commissioning requirements of the exact equipment. Planned expansion is considered at the design stage.
A proposed Megarevo and Dyness combination requires confirmation of the exact inverter and battery models, voltage range, BMS communication and supported firmware. Brand names alone do not establish compatibility.
What does a Megarevo system cost?
Commercial pricing depends on inverter capacity, storage duration, switchgear, installation conditions and the agreed project scope. Request an itemised quotation showing equipment, labour, VAT, delivery, commissioning and any ongoing monitoring charges. Stock and lead times are confirmed before an order is accepted.
Questions customers ask
Can a Megarevo system keep my whole business running?
That depends on the measured loads, surge demand, selected operating mode and battery capacity. MicroSec defines the essential loads and expected backup duration before sizing the system.
Can Helios monitor the installation?
Monitoring is assessed against the selected equipment and available communications. Where compatible, MicroSec Helios can support site visibility and technical follow-up; the supported functions and service scope are confirmed for the project.
Plan your project
For eligible commercial projects, explore solar finance options over 36, 48 or 60 months and enquire with MicroSec about a tailored solar and storage proposal.
