HELIOS SECURITY & SURVEILLANCE • COUNTER-SURVEILLANCE

Protect the information your organisation cannot afford to expose.

Helios Counter-Surveillance & Privacy Intelligence builds trusted baselines for authorised homes, offices, boardrooms, executive travel and multi-site environments. It correlates recurring wireless, network, permission, behaviour and supported Helios Shield indicators, preserves an evidence trail and explains why a privacy concern was prioritised.

Evidence rule: Helios separates indicators, correlations and verified physical findings. A wireless identifier, signal strength, network observation or software alert is not, by itself, proof that a hidden camera, microphone or other covert device is present.

Managed licence: Helios remains MicroSec Group intellectual property. Pricing provides a limited managed right of use for the paid term. MicroSec controls installation, configuration, activation, supported integrations and platform updates. Software ownership and source code are never transferred.

Designed for South African organisations

Helios Counter supports boardroom privacy, executive privacy protection, corporate counter-surveillance workflows, wireless and network privacy intelligence, privacy risk monitoring and corporate-espionage risk awareness for authorised environments nationwide across South Africa.

When indicators justify escalation, MicroSec can move the case into an authorised technician workflow and, where appropriate, a professional TSCM / physical sweep scope using specialist inspection equipment. Physical sweeps, specialist equipment, travel and onsite investigation are separately scoped.

Helios remains a MicroSec-owned product

Helios Counter-Surveillance is never sold as software ownership. Clients receive a limited managed right of use for the paid term. MicroSec alone installs, configures, activates and supports the platform. Source code, ownership and unrestricted deployment rights are never transferred.

Vendor-neutral professional RF integration

Helios Counter is designed to integrate with supported professional RF spectrum analysers and sensors through documented manufacturer SDKs, APIs or other approved control interfaces. MicroSec selects and commissions the appropriate RF technology for the authorised site, then normalises spectrum metadata into the Helios baseline, evidence, incident and reporting workflow.

Compatibility rule: Helios does not claim universal compatibility with every RF analyser. Hardware is marked Helios Verified only after MicroSec physically commissions that exact model, driver and interface combination. RF hardware, SDK/API licensing, adapter configuration, commissioning and integration are separately quoted. Final RF integration pricing is subject to the selected RF product, technical compatibility, site scope and written client approval before procurement or integration. RF spectrum activity remains an indicator requiring context; Helios does not decode or intercept third-party communications.

What Helios Counter-Surveillance can detect and assess

Helios is designed to turn supported privacy-risk indicators into an evidence-led assessment. It does not treat a single wireless signal as proof of spying. Instead, it compares authorised observations against a trusted environment baseline, looks for changes and recurrence, and helps prioritise what deserves investigation.

Unknown or unexpected Bluetooth indicators
New or changed Wi-Fi environment indicators
Unfamiliar network devices and services
Changes against a trusted room or site baseline
Recurring unexplained indicators across assessments
Supported privacy-permission and device-risk indicators
Cross-signal anomalies that justify closer review
Evidence patterns that justify professional RF or TSCM escalation

The value is the change detection and correlation: Helios helps authorised users understand what changed, whether it has happened before, how much confidence exists in the finding and what the next defensible action should be.

Counter-surveillance privacy assessment FAQ

Can Helios find every hidden camera or microphone?

No. Software and ordinary wireless observations cannot guarantee detection of every covert device. Helios identifies supported indicators and evidence patterns; non-transmitting or specialised devices may require professional RF, non-linear-junction, thermal or physical inspection.

Can MicroSec perform the assessment for us?

Yes. The on-site Helios Privacy Scan is available for clients who want an authorised MicroSec-led assessment without installing or subscribing to the software themselves.

Can Helios be used for boardrooms and executive offices?

Yes, when the organisation owns, manages or is explicitly authorised to assess the environment. Helios includes Boardroom and Executive modes with baselines, evidence history and escalation workflows.

Is a professional RF sweep the same as a laptop privacy scan?

No. The software-led privacy scan uses the supported wireless, network and device indicators available to the platform. A professional RF sweep adds dedicated spectrum-analysis equipment and is separately scoped.

On-Site Helios Privacy Scan

Need a professional privacy assessment without installing Helios? MicroSec can bring Helios to your site and perform an authorised laptop/tablet-based environment scan, classify supported privacy-risk indicators, preserve an evidence trail and recommend escalation where specialist RF or physical TSCM inspection is justified.
