Helios Managed Software Licensing
MICROSEC GROUP • HELIOS MANAGED SOFTWARE
Helios is licensed for use — never sold as customer-owned software.
MicroSec Group retains ownership of the Helios platform, source code, intellectual property, architecture and unrestricted deployment rights. Customers receive only the managed right to use the authorised Helios modules for the paid licence term and approved environment.
MicroSec-managed installation and configuration
Only MicroSec installs, configures, activates and materially updates Helios. Supported integrations, approved devices, user roles, security controls and cloud access are provisioned by MicroSec as part of onboarding. Payment confirms the commercial order; it does not transfer software ownership or create a right to self-deploy the platform.

What the customer owns
The customer’s own business information, authorised records, evidence and customer-created content remain the customer’s information, subject to the applicable agreement, privacy requirements and retention policy. The Helios platform that processes and protects that information remains MicroSec Group intellectual property.
Applies across the Helios software family
This managed-licensing principle applies to Helios Counter-Surveillance, Revenue, Finance, Technical, Procurement, Forensics, Shield and other Helios software modules. Different commercial plans may provide different features, users, sites or integrations, but none transfers ownership of the Helios software or source code.
