Solar Panel Cleaning in Coastal and Industrial Areas

Dust, salt, pollution and contamination can reduce production and damage connections.

Maintenance Technical Guide

Engineering basis

Cleaning intervals should be condition-based. Production trends, soiling pattern, rainfall, salt exposure, industrial contamination, roof access and module manufacturer guidance determine the maintenance plan.

Design and verification requirements

Inspect modules, clamps, rails, roof interfaces, cables, connectors, isolators, enclosures, corrosion and signs of heat or moisture. Compare post-maintenance performance with a weather-adjusted baseline and document defects, readings and corrective actions.

MicroSec technical workflow

  1. Confirm the client objective and operating modes.
  2. Measure and document the site conditions and load profile.
  3. Complete the electrical and energy design.
  4. Install to approved drawings and manufacturer requirements.
  5. Test, program, commission and record the final settings.
  6. Monitor performance and maintain the system through its service life.

Important: Final equipment selection, protection settings and compliance documentation require a site-specific assessment.
