What are AI Voice Processing Minutes?
The allowance measures the time Helios is actively processing a voice conversation. It is not the customer’s mobile airtime allowance. A customer can use their own carrier, SIP service or supported phone setup, but Helios still uses speech processing, AI response generation, workflow processing, cloud compute, logging and other platform resources while the AI is handling the call.
Customer telephony or carrier charges remain separate where applicable. Higher-than-included AI processing is billed separately or moved to the appropriate Helios plan.
Where is the call and workflow data stored?
Helios operational data is stored in the MicroSec Helios cloud under the configured customer retention policy. This can include call metadata, classifications, routing events, workflow actions, job cards, audit history and reporting data.
Transcript retention is policy-controlled. Call recording is disabled by default and is only enabled where specifically agreed, configured and appropriate. Recording retention is separately controlled rather than being kept indefinitely.
What happens after checkout?
1. Order received
The selected Helios Voice package is ordered through the normal MicroSec WooCommerce checkout. It is a virtual service, so no physical shipping is required.
2. MicroSec reviews the scope
We confirm the company, phone setup, departments, escalation rules, call flows, integrations and required go-live date.
3. Configure & test
Helios is configured and tested against the agreed workflows before production activation.
4. Go live
The approved production workflow is activated and authorised users receive access to the relevant Helios reporting and notifications.
5. Monitor & improve
Call classifications, routing performance, job creation and operational trends can be reviewed and refined over time.
6. Monthly service
The ongoing monthly Helios licence is renewed or invoiced after onboarding according to the selected package and agreed commercial arrangement.
AI receptionist and call automation for South Africa
MicroSec provides Helios AI Voice Reception to businesses nationwide in South Africa, including customers in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Free State, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West and Northern Cape. The service is suited to companies that need consistent call handling, after-hours reception, technical triage, service-request capture, job-card creation, multi-site routing and management reporting.
Because Helios is built around business workflows rather than a single hardware manufacturer, the solution can be configured around the customer’s actual operational requirements and supported integrations.
Frequently asked questions
Does the customer need to buy airtime from MicroSec?
No. Customer telephony, carrier or SIP charges are separate where applicable. The Helios allowance relates to AI voice processing, not the customer’s mobile airtime bundle.
Does Helios store all calls forever?
No. Operational data follows the configured retention policy. Call recording is off by default and transcript/recording retention is controlled separately.
Will Bob Go shipping appear at checkout?
No for these Helios Voice plans. They are configured as virtual services. If a customer buys physical equipment in the same order, normal shipping still applies to the physical items.
Can Helios create job cards or notify staff?
Yes, where configured in the selected plan and workflow. Business, Professional and Enterprise tiers support progressively more advanced workflow automation and integration.
Can larger organisations use it across multiple sites?
Yes. Professional and Enterprise are designed for multi-site use, with Enterprise providing custom high-volume allowances, integrations and SLA options subject to scope.
